THE COVID INQUIRY
I was asked by Sky's Westminster newsroom to attend the Covid Inquiry with Presenter, Kamali Melbourne, and Political Correspondent, Tamara Cohen. For this, I was a pool producer for various news networks across the two days Boris Johnson was giving evidence, whilst also working with the Sky News team.
I was asked by Beth Rigby's producer to conduct an interview with the four women who were kicked out of the Covid Inquiry for protesting whilst the former Prime Minister was giving evidence.
This involved finding a camera operator who was free, talking to the West London based newsroom about logistics and feeding the interview in, staying in contact with the Millbank Westminster based news desk, and finding and speaking with the protesters to agree logistics on how an interview would be conducted.
