POST OFFICE INQUIRY

I spent two months covering the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry in preparation for ex Post Office CEO Paula Vennells's evidence.

 

Whilst on location, I would work on coordinating story production, including identifying sources and interviewees, story content, and liaising with teams in the newsroom.

 

I worked closely with reporters, briefing them on the developments of a story and helping them prepare for live reports and TV packages.

 

I’ve also been responsible for spotting and reporting toplines for immediate coverage across TV and digital platforms, alongside contributing to live blog pages.

I also worked as a pool producer whilst at the inquiry where I would doorstep and question executives either as they arrived or left.
